Low-pressure ruthenium-based ammonia synthesis technology is a major breakthrough in catalytic materials and processes, and its centerpiece is the new generation of ruthenium-based ammonia synthesis catalysts. In contrast with conventional iron-based ammonia synthesis catalysts, these new type catalysts deliver higher single-pass conversion ratios of ammonia synthesis under lower reaction pressures, significantly reduce energy consumption, slash maintenance costs and enhance safety factors.
